Beatriz SempereBorn in Alicante, Spain, in 1975, Beatriz Sempere is a talented industrial designer with a stellar reputation worldwide. She has a degree in industrial design, and her passion is housing and interior design. In addition to these types of designs, Sempere also works on architectural projects, further showcasing her talent and creativity.
In 2000, Sempere moved to Italy and combined her Spanish roots with modern Italian design styles to create gorgeous furniture pieces that everyone admires. She uses a combination of clean lines, inviting, warm silhouettes, and other geometric nuances. What really makes her work stand out is the romantic inspiration and passion she puts into her work. Today, she collaborates with an array of prestigious furniture companies and design houses, including Midj.
Franco PoliBorn in Padua, Italy, in 1950, Franco Poli is an award-winning designer who is well-respected worldwide. His experience spans decades, and he has experience as a product designer, business owner, teacher, and artistic director. In 1977, he was the artistic director for Bernini spa, and by 1986 he opened his own design studio. He also taught at multiple schools in Italy and now freelances for an array of furniture companies, including Midj. Poli has his work on permanent display at the Denver Art Museum.
His awards include the Good Design Award and the Composo D'oro, making his work highly sought after. Geometrically inspired and full of functional appeal, his products are iconic. Poli is always striving to be better, and the evolution of his work shows that.
