Calvi earned his degree in Architecture and worked with talented designers and companies before opening his studio in 2004 after studying at the Milan Polytechnic and Brunel University of West London. Paolo Brambilla received his architecture degree at Milan Polytechnic and the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. The two formed Calvi Brambilla studio in 2006 after realizing they worked well together.
