description
The unique Assiba suspension light showcases a sophisticated design, featuring three elegant glass cylinders. These cylinders are available in a choice of white or crystal “balloton” glass, as well as in multicolor glass finishes, offering versatile customization options to meet various aesthetic preferences and needs. The striking suspension light’s innovative design allows for flexibility and creativity, with the two elements of each cylinder rotating independently. This functionality allows them to be oriented in different directions, enabling an array of compositions that remain dynamic and always one-of-a-kind.
Designed by the renowned Mauro Olivieri and meticulously crafted in Italy to ensure the highest quality, the Assiba suspension light is part of a broader collection that embodies exceptional craftsmanship and design. In addition to the suspension light, the Assiba collection includes a pendant light and a table lamp, each radiating the same sophisticated refinement that defines the suspension version. These pieces work harmoniously together to create a refined and cohesive lighting series that exudes timeless style. The Assiba collection, created by Vistosi, is a testament to the fine art of Murano mouth-blown glass. It beautifully captures the perfect fusion of traditional glassmaking techniques with contemporary design, elevating any space with its stunning craftsmanship.

Mauro OlivieriMauro Olivieri was born in 1959 in Genoa. After attending an art-oriented high school he graduated in Architecture in Genoa. In 1986 the designer Mauro Olivieri opened his studio in Arma di Taggia, a space where ideas and projects flourish every day and where experimentation reigns. His innate inclination for design, be it architectural, product, food, graphics, communication, set-ups, has never suffered any setbacks. In 1998 he designed Baco, his first collection of lamps, which marked the beginning of a long collaboration with Vistosi. In 2011 the Assiba collection for Vistosi came to life, a sublime expression of Murano mouth-blown glass. Tablò, a collection that combines glass and laminated wood in a single screwless piece, won the GrandesignEtico Award in 2014..manufactured by
Vistosi LightingThe story of Vistosi dates back centuries, starting in 1585. Stemming from the Gazzabin family name, masters of a special kind of glasswork titled Murano, titled after its same-name birthplace in Italy, this renowned company crafts light fixtures for both commercial and residential spaces, shining, shimmering, and statement-making. From chandeliers to wall sconces to table and floor lamps, each piece is unique, inspired, and made by some of the most professional glass artisans with revolutionary glass techniques.
Although they can tell a story so ancient, their products today are nothing short of modern. In the late 1980s, entrepreneur Giancarlo Moretti took over the business from his father, altering Vistosi into the company it is today. With one of the longest-owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers, Vistosi 2.0 thrives.
Vistosi boasts over 80 collections and a pervasive reputation of success all over the world, seeing implementation on almost every continent, cementing their indomitable presence as a leader in not just functional products but design objects. World-class brands and clients rely on Vistosi to make their spaces extremely valuable. The several awards to their name, such as the Red Dot, Good Design, and German Design, prove their preciousness.
