description
The Semai Pendant Light is a stunning expression of artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design. Created through a unique process in which glass is mouth-blown directly into a steel cage, each piece takes on a distinctive shape, making every pendant light unique. This free-blowing technique not only celebrates the unpredictability and beauty of handcrafted glass, but also adds character and individuality to every fixture. The steel cage acts as both a mold and a frame, subtly shaping the form while allowing the natural flow of the glass to remain visible.
Part of the larger Semai collection, which also includes a complementary flush mount version, this pendant is finished in a sleek glossy white glass that softly diffuses the light, casting a warm and inviting glow. The glossy white frame enhances the clean, modern aesthetic, while the dark inox cage provides a bold contrast, adding depth and an industrial edge to the overall design. Designed by the renowned Italian design duo Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella for Vistosi, the Semai Pendant embodies the brand’s commitment to innovation, elegance, and quality. Proudly made in Italy, it reflects the heritage and precision of Italian glassmaking traditions, brought to life with a contemporary sensibility. The Semai Pendant is more than just a lighting fixture—it’s a piece of art that enhances any space with its graceful form, warm illumination, and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship.

Vistosi LightingThe story of Vistosi dates back centuries, starting in 1585. Stemming from the Gazzabin family name, masters of a special kind of glasswork titled Murano, titled after its same-name birthplace in Italy, this renowned company crafts light fixtures for both commercial and residential spaces, shining, shimmering, and statement-making. From chandeliers to wall sconces to table and floor lamps, each piece is unique, inspired, and made by some of the most professional glass artisans with revolutionary glass techniques.
Although they can tell a story so ancient, their products today are nothing short of modern. In the late 1980s, entrepreneur Giancarlo Moretti took over the business from his father, altering Vistosi into the company it is today. With one of the longest-owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers, Vistosi 2.0 thrives.
Vistosi boasts over 80 collections and a pervasive reputation of success all over the world, seeing implementation on almost every continent, cementing their indomitable presence as a leader in not just functional products but design objects. World-class brands and clients rely on Vistosi to make their spaces extremely valuable. The several awards to their name, such as the Red Dot, Good Design, and German Design, prove their preciousness.
