description
The Novecento Suspension Light is an elegant fixture that brings a touch of sophistication to any contemporary home. Its three-tiered design seamlessly merges the timeless charm of a classic chandelier with a modern glass shade. Made from white or transparent crystal with intricate rigadin processing, this light serves as a striking focal point, infusing classical spaces with a sense of grandeur. The radial pattern on the shade becomes even more captivating when illuminated by crisp white light, creating a dramatic effect. Whether suspended above a dining table, coffee table, or in a foyer, its refined design demands attention while providing functional illumination for your everyday needs.
The striped texture of the shade adds a visually dynamic element, making it the perfect centerpiece for a dining area. Designed by the renowned Romani Saccani Architetti Associati and meticulously handcrafted in Italy by Vistosi, the Novecento Suspension Light is part of the broader Novecento collection. Ideal for modern interiors, it can also be paired with other pieces from the collection to create an even more striking lighting display.

designed by
Romani Saccani Architetti AssociatiMichele Romani and Mauro Saccani founded the design studio ROMANI SACCANI ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS in 1999. After having collaborated as freelancers with some architecture firms around Milan and having participated in several design and architecture competitions, today they are increasingly oriented towards the product design sector. Their current projects include numerous collaborations with design companies in both the lighting sector and in the furniture/interior accessories sector. For Vistosi they have designed many successful collections: Diadema in 2005, both 24Pearls and Cloth in 2009, Novecento in 2013, Puppet in 2015, Cristallina in 2017 and Puppet Ring, the most recent in 2019. Each of their new concepts stems from a conscious reinterpretation of the past, becoming a blend between imagination and pragmatism, challenging the seriousness of standards and customs. The “simpler” the original idea, the more successful the project will be: therefore “simple”, which never means trivial, is understood as the primary form of elegance and a rejection of excess and vulgarity, as a clean and pure ability to communicate an authentic message.
manufactured by
Vistosi LightingThe story of Vistosi dates back centuries, starting in 1585. Stemming from the Gazzabin family name, masters of a special kind of glasswork titled Murano, titled after its same-name birthplace in Italy, this renowned company crafts light fixtures for both commercial and residential spaces, shining, shimmering, and statement-making. From chandeliers to wall sconces to table and floor lamps, each piece is unique, inspired, and made by some of the most professional glass artisans with revolutionary glass techniques.
Although they can tell a story so ancient, their products today are nothing short of modern. In the late 1980s, entrepreneur Giancarlo Moretti took over the business from his father, altering Vistosi into the company it is today. With one of the longest-owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers, Vistosi 2.0 thrives.
Vistosi boasts over 80 collections and a pervasive reputation of success all over the world, seeing implementation on almost every continent, cementing their indomitable presence as a leader in not just functional products but design objects. World-class brands and clients rely on Vistosi to make their spaces extremely valuable. The several awards to their name, such as the Red Dot, Good Design, and German Design, prove their preciousness.
