Alberto Lievore

Alberto Lievore An architect trained at the University of Buenos Aires, Alberto Lievore began his career by founding Hipótesis, a company focused on interior design and furniture production. In 1976, he moved to Barcelona, where he developed projects across a wide range of sectors within the local industry. Alongside Jorge Pensi, he later created SIDI, a platform that played an important role in launching and promoting Spanish design during the 1980s. Lievore gained international recognition in the furniture sector, with his work reaching markets across Europe, America, and Asia. He has maintained particularly strong relationships with Italian manufacturers, collaborating on projects that extend beyond product design to include strategic consultancy and integrated communication. In 1999, he was awarded Spain’s National Design Prize in recognition of his outstanding professional career.
