Pearson Lloyd
Pearson Lloyd is a London-based design studio founded in 1997 by British designers Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd. Rather than being an individual Italian designer, the studio collaborates internationally with many leading brands, including Italian companies such as Lago. Known for their research-driven approach to furniture and industrial design, Pearson Lloyd works with global clients including Bene and Walter Knoll, creating products that respond to the evolving needs of contemporary living and working.
Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd met while studying at the Royal College of Art in London and later established their studio in Shoreditch, East London. Their work focuses on sustainability, ergonomics, and addressing the complexities of modern life across office, residential, and transport sectors. Recognized for balancing functional efficiency with aesthetic simplicity, they were appointed Royal Designers for Industry in 2008 and were named Dezeen’s Designer of the Year in 2023.
