"Less is more" perfectly captures the essence of the Groove Suspension Light, inspired by the minimalist aesthetic of the early 1960s. This design philosophy, which permeated art, architecture, literature, and music, embraced a simple, structured, and refined lifestyle, offering a stark contrast to the chaos of daily life. Groove returns to basic geometric forms—the rectangle and the sphere—combining them in a new shape that exudes stability. The four metal frames, arranged perpendicularly, create clean, straight lines that form a harmonious balance. The gently curved glass spheres, available in soft matte white or shaded white glass, seamlessly fit between the rectangles, enhancing the design's precise order without disrupting it.

Created by the Hangar group and made in Italy, the Groove structure is intentionally crafted to provide maximum flexibility and customization. It is available in two sizes as a single suspension or with four metal frames of varying lengths that slide to form new geometric configurations, allowing it to adapt to any space while providing a unique, original shape for each project. The metal finish is offered in anthracite or matte bronze. This suspension light is ideal for a dining room table or above a kitchen island, serving as a simple yet sophisticated centerpiece for any room.

    Hangar Design Group
Hangar Design Group was founded in 1980 by Alberto Bovo and Sandro Manente. Two architects, with very different personalities, inclinations and skills: Bovo with his strong organizational skills coordinates not only the figures present in the headquarters of Hangard but also those in Italy and abroad, delineating the strategic lines necessary to be able to expand the group. His attitude is perfectly complemented by the profile of Manente who prefers to express himself in the fields of urban planning, design and interior design. In 2000 the Milan office was opened and the company took on a national dimension. Hangar Design Group is today multicultural and multidisciplinary. The new challenge is to put our creativity and ideas at the service of global markets. The following year, 2001, the inevitable contact with the American culture occurred when they took on the United States by inaugurating a new headquarters in the Flatiron Building. The American experience inspired the whole group and opened the doors to a crucial market for the years to follow. Three years later, 2004, the Far Eastern market kept expanding. Hangar Design Group opened a base in Shanghai, gateway to the Asian continent. The company is now a true global network. In 2011, the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award came about for the “Sunset” mobile home project. The most important award for design, together with numerous other prizes, marked a professional career of thirty years. In 2015 Hangar Design created Futura, the first collection of lamps for Vistosi, which in the same year won the Archiproducts Design Awards as the best product in the lighting category. In 2017 they conceived two other collections for Vistosi: Peggy and Stone. The first was exhibited at the Peggy Museum in Venice, the second won the coveted Good Design Award 2017.

    Vistosi Lighting

The story of Vistosi dates back centuries, starting in 1585. Stemming from the Gazzabin family name, masters of a special kind of glasswork titled Murano, titled after its same-name birthplace in Italy, this renowned company crafts light fixtures for both commercial and residential spaces, shining, shimmering, and statement-making. From chandeliers to wall sconces to table and floor lamps, each piece is unique, inspired, and made by some of the most professional glass artisans with revolutionary glass techniques.

Although they can tell a story so ancient, their products today are nothing short of modern. In the late 1980s, entrepreneur Giancarlo Moretti took over the business from his father, altering Vistosi into the company it is today. With one of the longest-owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers, Vistosi 2.0 thrives.

Vistosi boasts over 80 collections and a pervasive reputation of success all over the world, seeing implementation on almost every continent, cementing their indomitable presence as a leader in not just functional products but design objects. World-class brands and clients rely on Vistosi to make their spaces extremely valuable. The several awards to their name, such as the Red Dot, Good Design, and German Design, prove their preciousness.
