The Plissè Suspension Light by Vistosi has the graceful and harmonious lines of a jellyfish and its iconic umbrella shape, which almost seems to want to protect and guard the space to be illuminated. It is a closing circle whose circularity gives the sense of a complete yet unique project, due to the overlapping of different materials in glass, fabric, and metal.
Designed by Chiaramonte & Marin and made in Italy, the Plissè light is made with the upmost quality in mind. The blown glass of the diffuser, which has generous dimensions, hides an internal fabric lampshade and gives life to a play on transparency, colour and texture that make Plissè an elegant piece that can give life and a touch of personality to the environment in which it is used. Plissè is available as a suspension with diffuser in dark amber, smoke, burned earth, old green or crystal. The metal frame can have a matte steel or matt bronze finish. Perfect to place above a dining table, coffee table in a living room, or in a uniquer addition to an entryway, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere for any space in the home.

Chiaramonte & MarinAlfredo Chiaramonte studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Venice. Marco Marin graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in industrial design. In 1989 the professional partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin was launched, with the foundation of the eponymous Designstudio. Both share a passion for objects which manifest as industrial products. Their professional interest ranges across numerous fields (interior, graphic, industrial, lighting) and benefits from the permeation of experiences and knowledge they have gained over the years, thus creating an interdisciplinary perspective, a kind of humus to fertilize the soil of their ideas. This is, for example, how the long-standing collaboration with Murano glass companies has allowed them to short-circuit two apparently different fields, creating several lines of objects, glasses and blown glass lamps for leading companies. They have collaborated with companies in the furniture and publishing sector including Bonaldo, Cattelan Italia, and Vistosi.
