description
The Sata Floor Lamp builds upon the refined design language introduced in the Trepai collection, also by Vistosi, while bringing an even more pronounced focus to the natural elegance of wood. Its bold, geometric frame—available in either natural or black ash wood—forms a visually striking base for the blown glass diffuser, creating a harmonious contrast between solid structure and airy illumination. This balance of warm materiality and lightness gives the lamp a sculptural presence that integrates seamlessly into both contemporary and traditional interiors.
As a key piece in the broader Sata collection, the floor lamp is offered with hand-blown glass shades in two soft, atmospheric finishes: shaded white and shaded amber. These subtle tones gently diffuse the light, casting a warm, ambient glow that enhances the mood of any space while complementing the rich grain of the wood. Designed by the acclaimed Favaretto & Partners Design Studio for Vistosi and meticulously handcrafted in Italy, the Sata Floor Lamp embodies the brand’s dedication to timeless craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the highest quality materials. Whether positioned beside a reading chair, next to an end table, or near a sideboard or dresser, it offers both practical illumination and a touch of elevated style.

Favaretto & PartnersIn 1973 Paolo Favaretto, a newly graduated architect, started his business as Studio Favaretto. The same year he designed his first Agorà chair, a successful product that is still in production today. It was in 1980 that collaboration with the first foreign customer began. Six years later, in 1986, Paolo Favaretto received the international Product Design Award from the Institute of Business Designers USA for Powerbeam Desk, the first example of a desk with a load-bearing extruded powered beam In the early 2000s, the studio saw an increase in national and international collaborations. But the change came in 2009, when Paolo’s son Francesco Favaretto, after working in Canada, returned to Italy and decided to team up with his father, setting up Favaretto & Partners From then on, Favaretto Senior and Junior racked up a series of important milestones such as the opening of a partnership in Toronto and Shanghai, where the first on-site manager was appointed. 2015 was a year of great satisfaction. The firm is honored with 13 international awards, bringing the historical total to an impressive 79 awards. The following year he designed the JUBE lamp collection for Vistosi, now the company’s best seller. Yesterday as today, the firm upholds the principles of ‘Design for All’, a declaration accepted by the European Commission, according to which the accessibility of places and objects to the widest possible number of users must be guaranteed. To date, 542 design projects with predominance of chairs, armchairs and seats, but also lamps, desks and more, all conceived and carried out with insatiable curiosity, tenacity and passion for research.manufactured by
Vistosi LightingThe story of Vistosi dates back centuries, starting in 1585. Stemming from the Gazzabin family name, masters of a special kind of glasswork titled Murano, titled after its same-name birthplace in Italy, this renowned company crafts light fixtures for both commercial and residential spaces, shining, shimmering, and statement-making. From chandeliers to wall sconces to table and floor lamps, each piece is unique, inspired, and made by some of the most professional glass artisans with revolutionary glass techniques.
Although they can tell a story so ancient, their products today are nothing short of modern. In the late 1980s, entrepreneur Giancarlo Moretti took over the business from his father, altering Vistosi into the company it is today. With one of the longest-owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers, Vistosi 2.0 thrives.
Vistosi boasts over 80 collections and a pervasive reputation of success all over the world, seeing implementation on almost every continent, cementing their indomitable presence as a leader in not just functional products but design objects. World-class brands and clients rely on Vistosi to make their spaces extremely valuable. The several awards to their name, such as the Red Dot, Good Design, and German Design, prove their preciousness.
